Here are the photos of some of the flowers/foliage in my garden. The last but one is that of pumpkin-flower with a honey bee hovering over it and the last photo is that of a baby pumpkin.

ReplyDeleteWaiting waiting!!!!!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeletelovely
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely garden!
ReplyDeleteDoes a green thumb also skip a generation? :)
ReplyDeleteArun,
ReplyDeleteTotally! I can't even keep a cactus alive. :/
Arun,
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Your second observation and Sayesha's response to it reminds me of the third editorial of a recent issue of The Times of India. It is a supposed conversation among Amitabh Bachan, Jaya Bachan and Abhishek. The Big B says that the Baby B will be a talented actor, to which Junior B responds in some way, to which Big B responds by saying, "Talent skips a generation."!!!
Pink,
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Bubblegum,
ReplyDeleteYou will have to wait a little more.
Intjarka phal mitha hota hai! Hai naa? :))))))
WHAT?! Third editorial of TOI??? Or do you mean to say you read it on my blog and forgot where you read it?? Or did TOI copy from my blog???? I think Arun's comment was in reference to my blog!
ReplyDeleteMy guess is, Sayesha, that you overwatered your cactus. Therefore, if you try plants that like overwatering, they will thrive, and you will have a green thumb :)
ReplyDeleteDid I mix up? I am confused. The third editorials of The TOI are not by TOI; these are contributed by readers.
ReplyDeleteCorrigendum
ReplyDeleteI plead guilty. I read the observation about talent skipping one generation not in The Times of India but in Sayesha's blog. :(((
.... and where is the next installment stuck on its way ?? !! :)
ReplyDelete@Uncle:
ReplyDeletePhal meetha haga!!hmmm... I can wait...But I dont want Mangoes...Give me something from the winter batch only :)
TOOL, Bubblegum,
ReplyDeleteI am waiting for the winter flowers to come to full glow.
Khata-mitha is better than pure mitha!
